WHY YOU SHOULD PICK YOUR COMPANIONS WISELY

We are often advised from our childhood by elders to not hang out with bad influences. But most of us don't feel that we actually get influenced and don't even know how it subconsciously affects us. We just feel that we will be able to get away with it and it doesn't make a difference. Today I'll be discussing the neurological reason behind how others contribute to the shaping of your life and thinking process.

Do you ever feel like yawning when you see somebody else yawn? The answer is probably YES. It's because there is something called as mirror neurons in the human brain. These neurons subconsciously observe others and send a message to the brain to 'mirror' that action. Well, That is the reason all the great comedy shows put a background sound of laugh. They want you to believe that it is funny and reciprocate the feeling. Even if you consciously try to ignore the affect you will 100% get affected uncontrollably. Scientifically, YOU ARE THE AVERAGE OF THE 5 PEOPLE YOU HANG OUT WITH.

There was a study done in which scientists put electrodes on babies' heads so they could study their brains. And what they noticed was fascinating. When a baby reached for something, and when they saw someone else reach for something, the same part of their brain lit up! You see, the more you spend your time with negative, toxic or pessimistic people, the more that specific part of the brain is going to get activated. And when you hangout with positive and successful people, the more you ingrain those values and principles of success inside you. There's a famous saying that goes, ''If you are the smartest guy in the room, you're in the wrong room.'' We should model ourselves to people who already have the habits we want and refrain from people who drag us down and emit negative energy. The more the specific part of your brain gets activated, the more the neural pathways get stronger and the more you become like your companion.

So watch out for the people you that you spend time with ; for they exhibit your future.
Hope this advice was fruitful to you. Have great day!

THE ULTIMATE SECRET BEHIND WAKING UP EARLY

Its Morning. Your alarm rings and creates this utterly annoying sound. You hit the snooze button and slide back into your cozy blanket. You promise yourself to get up right after the ringing sound hits your ears the next day. But when the next morning approaches and that alarm rings, you just can't find the energy to stand up and make some excuses to yourself to slide back into the blanket. Trust me, I can relate to that. Early mornings are the most productive times of one's day and rising early is a skill. Here are the 7 secrets to help you wake up early and set you up for a mindful and productive day.  1. Have a strong "Why": If you do not have a well-defined reason for getting up early, your mornings will naturally begin to tend toward napping. I agree that quitting this behavior is difficult, and if you want to go through the battle, you must have a compelling reason to do so. Be very clear about what you want to do with the additional early time. 2.Add a reward f...

Our mood is against grinding and our mind just wants to be lazy. Especially during these uncertain times of the pandemic, it just seems the best thing to do. But there are ways you can work on improving yourself by just binge-watching on that cold Saturday morning. In this post, I'll be talking about 5 Netflix Documentaries that will change your perspective about life.  1. The Last Dance: This Documentary is the BEST among all on the list. It gives us insights into how the "Black Cat" conducted himself, his reaction to failure, the loss of his beloved dad, his unbelievable competitive spirit, ...
